The legend of Hindi cinema Amitabh Bachchan and leading actress Jaya Bhaduri are the proud parents of Abhishek Bachchan who was born on February 5, 1976. Originally Abhishek Bachchan belongs to Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh as his grandfather Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a famous Hindi literature poet and professor with Allahabad University, later on his father shifted to Mumbai to make his career in film industry. Abhishek Bachchan has one elder sister named Shweta Bachchan Nanda. He married to former Miss India World and actress Aishwarya Rai in April 2007 and blessed with a girl child in 2011 named Aaradhaya Bachchan. In his childhood it is said that Abhishek Bachchan was dyslexic that is he felt difficulty with reading and spelling.

Abhishek Bachchan started his career in the film industry in the year 2000 with J.P.Dutta’ Refugee along with Kareena Kapoor. This film didn’t do so well at the box office and he was compared a lot with his father. After this Abhishek Bachchan did so many films back to back like Shararat, Bas Itna Sa Khwaab hai, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Run etc. but none of them gave him success.

After seventeen, failure in films, finally he was praised for his acting skills in Main Prem ki Diwani Hoon (2003) and Mani Ratnam’s Yuva (2004). For his acting in Yuva, he got his first Filmfare Award for Best Supporting actor. In 2004, Abhishek Bachchan did Dhoom with John Abrahm and this film was industrial hit. Abhishek Bachchan cast opposite Rani Mukerjii in Shad Ali’s Bunty Aur Babli in 2005 which was one of the biggest commercial hits in that year. Again in the same year he did Sarkar along with his father, the film did average but his performance was appreciated and he got another Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. Currently Abhishek Bachchan is working for his latest project “All Is Well” in 2015.
